13 People Burnt To Death In Sokoto Auto Crash

According to IClick report, the accident occurred at about 9 p.m. It involved a Peugeot J5 bus travelling from Jos to Illela and a Toyota Starlet car travelling from Illela to Sokoto.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Sokoto State, Dr. Umar Gummi, confirmed the crash.
Gummi said the two vehicles caught fire after a head-on collision and that 14 other victims were injured.
He said some of the injured persons were receiving treatment at the Illela General Hospital, while others were referred to the Uthmanu Dan fodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
